Access Care Live-in Care Jobs | Home Care Provider

As a self employed Live-in Carer you may be thinking to yourself: which live-in carer agency should I register with, why should I join Access Care? We would like to tell you why we could be the perfect match for you!

We really do value our live-in Carers and believe that without you there is no Access Care! As a result of this we put in place the ‘finer details’ to ensure you feel valued as a home Carer. Some of the perks we offer our live-in Carers are:

  • We call you on your birthday! We all love a birthday (even if we do not like to shout about our age sometimes), and we believe a happy birthday call to our private Carers is important to let them know we are thinking about them on their special day!

  • We send you monthly newsletters. We think its important that you are kept up to date with all things Access Care, and in our newsletters your can find competitions for you to get involved in, a complex care corner with useful information for you to read along with lots of news and updates.

  • We award our Carer of the Month. We think it is important to recognise a live-in Carer that we feel has gone above and beyond in the last month and recognise this by announcing it in our monthly home Carer newsletter and sending them a certificate and a little gift as a prize for a job well done.

  • We ring you to ensure you are safe. Sometimes live-in Carers can feel alone when out in the field…. But not our Live-in Carers! We ring you to make sure you are safely on your way to your Client and ask you to ring us once you have arrived, if we do not hear from you we will always ensure we have contacted you to make sure you have got there safely.

  • We speak with you regularly about your Client. If there is anything you need to speak to us about you and your Client, we are here to listen and help.

  • We like to promote a sense of community within our Live-in Carer team, in doing this we have our Facebook page, Twitter page, Instagram, and Pinterest. We encourage our Carers to get involved and join the chat, enter our competitions we launch on our social media platforms, send us pictures of them with their Clients so we can post them and it’s a real fun way for us all to keep in touch!

  • We like to welcome all new live-in Carers with a Welcome Gift! This is a gift from us to you to say ‘Thank you’ for choosing us. If you haven’t guessed already we LOVE pink, so these gift are to inject a little pink into your life!

  • We have a care to share scheme. The highest compliment is when our Carers refer their friends to register with us a self-employed Live-in Carer – Refer-A Friend and each receive a £100.00 John Lewis Voucher!* (please contact us for full T&C's)

  • We reward loyalty! It’s so important for our existing Carers to be rewarded for their loyalty to us. Each of our registered Carers come back to our Head Office every 2 years to renew their registration, and when they do this we reward their loyalty by presenting them with a loyalty certificate and loyalty gift to thank them for their commitment to Access Care!

The list really does go on….

So have we tempted you into registering with Access Care as a self-employed Live-in Carer…? If so what are you waiting for? Contact us today on 0330 401 0023 or hello@access-care.co.uk.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

Live-in Care CEO Tiggy Bradshaw Access Care (1).webp

About The Author
Tiggy Bradshaw

Tiggy Bradshaw is the CEO and driving force behind Access Care, a family-run live-in care agency founded in 1994. Tiggy stepped into the company founded by her mother, Judie Tighe, after growing up immersed in the business and its values. Under her leadership, Access Care remains small enough to pay attention to the details yet large enough to deliver impactful care solutions across the UK.

Her mission is to arrange compassionate, professional live-in carers that enable individuals to remain in their own homes with dignity, rather than moving into a residential setting. With decades of experience behind the team, Tiggy prioritises highly-vetted carers, personalised matching and a caring, family-first ethos.

Together with her dedicated team, Tiggy continues to build on the founding vision of transforming live-in care - treating every family, client and carer as if they were part of her own.
