Access Care Life - Summer Edition

Access Care Live-in Care Hampshire | Home Care Provider

Introducing Our New Client Relationship Team!

Hi my name is Suzanne, I have been working in the Health and Social Care sector for several years. I have a strong desire in helping people to improve the quality of their lives. My role at Access Care, a live-in care agency, is to look after our home care clients, specifically those with more complex needs and head up our Client Relationship team. When not working I enjoy walking my dog and exploring new places. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone over the next few weeks.

Hi, my name is Andrea, I have worked in the Health Care sector for over 26 years. I have been a Registered Manager for several organisations and most recently I've worked as a health and social care trainer. I am married with a grown-up son, and I also have a rescue dog called Piper. I am lucky enough to grow my own vegetables in my garden, which is handy as I love to cook. I'm really enjoying my role as a Client Relationship Consultant with great colleagues, both the team in the office and the team of live-in carers. I'm also really looking forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks.

Hi, my name is Jo and I have recently joined the Client Relations Team. I have 18 years care experience in various fields including domiciliary care, elderly care, dementia care, adults with physical disabilities and fostering children with disabilities. I have a young family and when I'm not working, I can usually be found outside walking our dog, in the local park, cycling, or on our allotment. I am really looking forward to getting out and meeting everyone and hope to do so soon!

Since joining Access Care the Client Relationship Team have been busy meeting and getting to know some of our lovely Clients. This has given them an opportunity to not only update individual bespoke care plans but also to talk about the service we provide to ensure it is meeting needs and expectations.

Meeting our Clients is important to us as this helps us to match the right Live-in Carer. We are keen to understand our Clients and establish which Private Care Worker would best suit them.

Keep elderly cool in the heatwave

Staying cool in a heatwave

Most of us look forward to the warmer weather and feeling some sun on our faces. But it's important to be prepared for the hot weather as high temperatures can be dangerous to your health. We know our live-in caregivers take their client’s health very seriously - please read our blog post for tips on how to keep cool yourself and your live in care client as temperature soar - click here to read.
