Personal Assistants For Young Adults

Live-in Care for younger adults is for people aged 18-65yrs. The arrangement allows young adults with a physical/mental disability to access supported living on a one-to-one basis in the comfort of their own home/Uni digs. Representing good value for money, young adult Live-in Care is a perfect solution. Affording independence, flexibility and choice, Live-in Care perfectly complements the demands of the modern world.

Just because you benefit from 24hr Live-in support doesn’t mean that you must give up your independence, freedom, and choice. Our Live-in Personal Assistants assist you to live your life the way you choose. To help you live life to the full and be there to support you in any way they can. Whether you are a young adult at work or further education. Whether you go to the gym regularly or join quiz nights at your local pub. Whether you have a hectic social life with mates, do sports or other hobbies a Live-in Personal Assistant can help you to achieve your goals.

Our Personal Assistants live with you in your accommodation (be it home / university or other). This enables your Live-in Care Assistant them to be on hand when you need them. There is no fixed timetable. You are free to adapt your care as you see fit. Your Personal Assistant will accommodate your wishes.

Helping with personal care, bathing, using the bathroom, medication assistance, cooking, housekeeping, laundry and shopping, your Live-in Personal Assistant can accompany you as much or as little as you need.

Working 9-5 with a disability

If you work, your Live-in Personal Assistant can help you safely to your office. He/she can stay whilst you work if necessary and help you home afterwards. He/she can even pop out to grab your lunch! Whatever works for you! Some of our Carer’s drive, and if you have a car, they can really be of service to you.

Studying at University with a disability

If you are studying at university / college, your Live-in PA will live with you in your ‘digs.’ Working closely with your support team on campus he/she will ensure you are at your lectures on time. You will also be supported to participate in any activities you wish and ready for a fun social life too. Your Live-in PA will also be on hand to help create the quiet environment that you may crave for study. We will happily work with your university, parents, other professionals to help find your perfect Live-in Assistant. Together we will work to achieve your every ambition at university whilst being supported in an unobtrusive manner.

According to UCAS “every year, over 60,000 students with physical and/or mental health conditions and learning differences apply through UCAS to study at a university or college in the UK, and access a range of support to help them succeed with their studies, day-to-day activities, travel, and lifestyle.” Whether you are off to college or university – first let us say congratulations! How exciting, a time for learning, freedom, independence and fun and we are here to help you arrange the support you need to access all of that. Our Live-in Assistants (Carers/PA/mate, call them what you will) are able to help and assist with your personal care, mobility, and any other task you require. All our Assistants are qualified, professional, and importantly good fun and would be delighted to help you.
