Live In Care - The Process of Setting Up the Service
An initial phone call will leave you fully assured of the Service we offer and answer any queries and questions you may have.
Upon deciding Live In Care is the best option, a meeting is arranged with our Care Plan Co-ordinator to visit the Service User plus any family members who wish to be present. The aim of the meeting is to introduce Access Care and talk with you to gain an insight into the service we will be required to perform.
By having a informal discussion with the Service User and others present the Care Plan Co-ordinator is ascertaining exactly what level of service is required. Sometimes it's the smallest details that make all the difference; from breakfast in bed, to a much loved pet being walked at a specific time, from having clothes ironed in a particular fashion to having your hair done just so, our service allows us to be this specific to enable the most professional and pleasing service.
During this meeting the Care Plan Co-ordinator will perform an Environmental Risk Assessment on the Service Users home and a Moving and Handling Risk Assessment appertaining to the Service User. These Assessments are then evaluated and a personal/bespoke Care Plan is drawn up detailing exactly what the Live In Carer/Housekeeper is required to do on a daily basis.
Scheduled Reviews of Care Plans are conducted on an annual basis and as and when circumstances change to ensure we are always providing the exact service required. |
