Cost of 24hr Live In Care

Live In Care is truly a viable financial option and certainly comparable to Residential homes. With the Government striving to increase the amount of 'Direct Payment' options available as a form of financial help more and more people are turning to Live In Care.

Our Care and Housekeeping Packages do carry basic charges as detailed below, however there are too many variants to list here. As all our Care Packages are bespoke there are many different payment options available (eg Options that leave the Client in financial control and options that take all the pressure away from the Client). We would be happy to discuss these at greater length in person to find the ideal option.

The information below will give you a good indication as to the basic cost of Live In Care:

Cost of Care/Housekeeping for a Single Client:

£420.00 per week Carer/Housekeeper Wage (Suggested minimum amount)

£67.88 + vat Weekly Agency Fee

Carers/Housekeepers are accepted on a Full Board basis and require their own bedroom. Travel Costs (one way) to the Clients home are also expected to be covered by the Client.

Cost of Care/Housekeeping for a Couple:

£490.00 per week Carer/Housekeeper Wage (Suggested minimum amount)

£67.88 + vat Weekly Agency Fee

Carers/Housekeepers are accepted on a Full Board basis and require their own bedroom. Travel Costs (one way) to the Clients home are also expected to be covered by the Client.

Cost of High Dependency Live-In Care: (2 Carers)

£840.00 per week Carers Wage (Suggested minimum amount)

£82.74 + vat Weekly Agency Fee

Carers are accepted on a Full Board basis and require a bedroom each if at all possible. Travel Costs (one way) to the Clients home are also expected to be covered by the Client.

Live In Care is certainly a truly viable alternative to a Residential Home, allowing people to maintain independence in the peace and comfort of their own home.
