Access Care 24hr Live-In Carer

Are you caring and compassionate, patient and kind? Then becoming a Live In Care Worker could be a wonderful option for you. 

The Company prides itself on being fair employers and your managers are always on hand to help with any questions or queries you may have. You are never placed in a position you are not fully trained to deal with and you always have prior knowledge of your placement well before you get there in order to prepare.

You are trained by experts to deliver a very high standard of work. During your induction to the Company you receive full and concise training notes which are a reference point and cover your role as a Care Worker in full. We aim to train you to such a high standard that you are fully confident on your role as a Live In Care Worker.

If you are interested in becoming a Live In Care Worker there are certain steps that you need to follow. 

  • Please Fax your Passport details by means of identification; we require the page that has your photograph and the page which has your visa/permit (only applicable if you were born outside of the UK). Please write your Full Name, Address and Telephone number on the fax and send through to: 01264 710 889.

  • We will contact you and arrange a convenient time to attend an Interview.  All interviews are conducted by the Live In Care Manager on a one to one basis. Please prepare a CV and bring it with you to your Interview.

  • You will also be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure and supply all the relevant identification; details will be given when arranging your interview date. 

  • We will also need to obtain two written References, one must be from your current place of employment and the other can be a more personal one. 

  • You will need to attend our four day Residential Training and Induction Course before we are able to offer you work. You will need to pay for the Training Course and for your CRB check (approximately £300). You will be given further details at your Interview.

  • Once your personnel file is complete you will be given a digital ID badge and be able to work.

Please do read the Training Page of this website - this lists the full course content that you will cover while on the residential course. You will only be able to work as a Live In Care Worker if you pass this course.
